Trois-Rivières: Jean Pierre Ferland & American Story 2

Quebec music legend Jean Pierre Ferland presents his latest album “Tous les femmes de ma vie” at Trois-Rivière. For the occasion, the artist will be surrounded by singers who have marked the song in Quebec: Isabelle Boulay, Luce Dufault, Laurence Jalbert, Florence K, Yama Laurent, Julie Anne Saumur, Mélissa Bédard, Diane Tell and Nanette Workman. Needless to say, you will spend an evening in good company on August 30, 2019 at 8 p.m. (doors open 6:30 p.m.) at the Cogeco Amphitheatre.

If you're more of the musical magazine type, check out American Story 2, The Woodstock Years, presented on the boards of the J.-Antonio-Thompson Hall in Trois-Rivière. In this show, the highlights of the gathering that transformed the face of Rock'n Roll, from Richie Havens to Janis Joplin, Crosby Stills and Nash and Metallica. The musical worlds of American Story 2, The Woodstock Years take you to the epicenter of history. As if you had been a part of it! Join them on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from August 1 to 31, 2019.

Laval: Nature Centre & Family Day

Looking for a little family outing? On August 31, from 10am to 6pm, it is in Laval that it takes place at the Centre de la nature et la fête de la famille . Known for its many family activities (game modules, walking trails, tropical farm and greenhouse, skatepark, canoe, kayak and rabaska on the lake, etc.), the Nature Centre is transformed into a vast entertainment area.

This outdoor event will allow younger children to attend performances by artists they know well, such as Ari Cui Cui and Annie Brocoli. Gatineau: 32nd Hot Air Balloon Festival

The 32nd Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival, September 3-7, is 5 days of festivities, nearly 100 colorful hot air balloons and thousands of people gathered to create one of the most popular events in Eastern Canada. Attend great music shows including Alex Nevsky, Karim Ouellet and Les Trois Accords, and funny comedy shows including Peter MacLeod, François Massicotte and Mariana Mazza, on stage at Casino Lac-Leamy and Scene Hydro-Québec.

Amusement park, public entertainers, craft marquee, graffiti contests and of course balloon tours will be offered to visitors. A must-see event in the Bas-Saint-Laurent for 30 years now. Don't forget the caravan estate in the heart of the site!

Mont-Tremblant: Music Festival

On the stages of the pedestrian village at the foot of the mountain and the Village and Downtown sectors of the City of Mont-Tremblant, it is an appointment from September 4 to 7 at La fête de la Musique de Tremblant. For all the eternal lovers of jazz music, big names, as well as emerging artists, in the enchanting scenery of the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding mountains.

Under the artistic direction of violinist Angèle Dubeau, more than 30 concerts by Canadian musicians are offered free of charge.
